Last weekend we held our second Car Care Clinic of the year. Twenty volunteers performed oil changes, car inspections, added fluid conditioners, and visited with thirty wonderful women and enjoyed coffee, fruit and pastries — all in just 4 hours!
As one widow was getting ready to pull away, a tire inspection found a large bubble on the outer sidewall of her tire. Full Story

Three weeks ago we received a call from one of our newer partners—a local shelter for battered women and/or homeless women and their children. They had a single mom staying in their facilities who needed our assistance. Full Story

A heating and ventilation (HVAC) company
told Kim that her whole furnace needed to be
replaced and it was unsafe for her and her
son to live there because the furnace was
